Biography
Joshua Coleman (aka "J Cole") is an American composer, pianist, and producer. In a career that spans two decades J Cole has composed and produced for many artists across multiple genres.
J Cole was born February 9, 1983 in Houston, TX. His brother was once signed to Luke Records (home of R&B group H-Town). While accompanying his brother to the studio, J Cole's love for music began to flourish. He pursued studies in classical piano and soon ventured into hip-hop Production.
His love of music led him to the University of Texas at Austin, where he received a Bachelors degree in Music. During that time, J Cole broadened his talents and began composing for films. To this day, J Cole continues to carve out his legacy with his unique and appealing sound.
